We are a small team of developers and entrepreneurs, so we’re deeply familiar with the journey from idea to app launch. We often felt frustrated that too many of the services for hosting and deployment were overly complicated, had convoluted pricing, or both. That frustration is where Runway started, and why we tailored the platform for people who just want to focus on building their app.
We build and operate Runway out of Berlin, Germany. (Yes, that means we know all about how GDPR works – no need to worry about compliance on that front). True to our German roots, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and focus on quality. True to our Berlin roots, we’re also cool as hell 🤘. But of course, we’re a remote-first company, so you can use our platform or be a part of our team no matter where you are.
Our business model is pretty simple — we price our platform at a fair and reasonable rate. We're committing to sticking around and supporting your applications as a sustainable, independent business. And we plan to be here for many years. As Runway continues to evolve, we want to make deploying your apps even easier and faster.
