Hello, hello — a little over due. But here’s what happened in terms of RUNWAY in May.
First off, thanks to Ally Long we made get strides, so let me introduce Astrocat 🐈⬛ (see the page’s logo!) and our brand new logo that’s been developing. :-) Over the next couple weeks we’ll roll out the changes to our web UI and landing pages — so stay tuned.

Also, thanks to everyone we reached out to, to collect feedback on the different directions we were exploring.
BIG FEATURE ALERT! — we added the first iteration of “volumes for apps” (aka persistency) to make “porting” (aka re-deploying) apps to RUNWAY easier :-) — idea being that persistency can be enabled in certain plans, and while that may make re-deploys a little more rocky, it also comes with the advantage of having a local filesystem (unlike on many PaaS products, where this is an afterthought and generally frowned upon)
continued on billing testing/integration (from last month), lots of e2e testing and increased coverage to iron out all the little hiccups that it may happen
lots of improvements to our monitoring systems so we always keep an eye on how things work overall (with contributions to a couple OSS projects that we are using)
subtle UX improvements to deployments (build & deploy logs can be a cumbersome to read when necessary, so this is easier now)
Thanks again for reading, commenting and sharing. :-)
